Unlike the early days of television when people were satisfied to watch programming on their magic boxes, today's TV nation demands more than the privilege of watching their favorite programs.

CLO Systems says its new TM1 flat-panel television mount is filling this need by providing TV fanatics with a strain-free viewing experience.

The TM1 is a low-profile mount that's capable of extending from the wall and tilting downward up to 15 degrees, and it also returns the television to a stationary position flush with the wall when you turn the set off. The mount places a TV one inch from the wall, and it is capable of supporting 26 inch to 37 inch TVs that weigh up to 44 pounds.

The V-Panel from Crestron Electronics serves as a user interface within a Crestron control system and a 1080p flat-panel television that includes VESA-compliant mounting provisions and desktop/tilt and flush placement options

Crestron separated the panel's graphic engine hardware from the displays and offers installers 12- (V12) and 15-inch (V15) models.

Installers can drive these displays with the DGE-1 or DGE-2 digital graphic engines to enable the use of independent applications.

Perfect Path (PPC) has added to its line of Perfect Path line of locking audio and video interconnects with the introduction of its PerfectLock RCA cable.

The 75-ohm cables, announced at CES 2010, utilize a design in which the outer body of the product turns clockwise to lock down on an input and it can be unlocked by turning the outer ground shield counter clockwise.

The company offers the locking RCA cables for component video, left and right analog audio, digital coax and composite video. In addition, the cables are CL-rated and PPC manufactures a range of sizes from 4 feet to 16 feet.

At least one part of a custom installer's job has become easier.

Bell'O's new PR-11 and PR-12 are the latest introductions to the company's Pro Bell'O pre-assembled furniture line, and they are designed to allow CE Pros to instantly provide clients with a furniture product that complements their home decor.

The two furniture pieces are designed to accommodate a variety of HDTVs and other electronics components, and they incorporate cable routing channels to enable installers to hide cabling runs.

Bell'O offers the PR-12 in a brown trim with glass accents, and the PR-11 has an expresso finish.

Both pieces carry an MSRP of $999

The TouchClient20 is a touchscreen HDTV with a control touchpanel and Windows Media Center for streaming Blu-rays, DVDs, music, photos and other digital content. The networkable TouchClient20 includes VESA-compatible mounting provisions to allow the device to hang on a wall. It also includes a SPDIF output for surround sound audio and HDMI inputs.
